COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Strong, pale beer. During the process of deep fermentation well-matured hops and light coloured malt result in full-bodied, slightly sweetish taste and mellow aroma of 7.30. Our strongest beer, Kalnapilis 7.30, has an especially strong aroma. The distinct flavour marvellously matches the higher volume of alcohol. A mug of pale, cold Kalnapilis 7.30 is for those looking for a stronger impression.

Golden colour. Thin head. Slightly grassy aroma. Hint of apple. A little bit toasty. The underlying alcohol is a little bit strong, but not too much so. A little tart as well, and unclean in the finish.

Bottle... Clear, light golden lager with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma is candy-berry sweet... too sweet. Fake berry extract-like. The flavor is surprisingly well-balanced with toffee-berry sweetness and equivalent, minerally, hop bitterness. Medium-bodied and a touch oily with medium carbonation. Mostly sweet, moderately bitter finish. Slightly numbing on the tongue.

Half-liter import bottle from Sam’s, Downers Grove. Big corny malt liquor smell. Color is at least a substantial lager gold, with a decent head that doesn’t disappear entirely. But taste is still of a cheap import malt liquor; corny sweetness, harsh alcohol, no usable offsetting bitterness. The bottle is undated, so there may be an issue of age, but I fail to see how this could have earned that World Beer Cup gold on its label.

Bottle, Buffalo Brew Fest. Not a compete disaster. Golden color, white head with large bubbles. Boozy, but not harsh. Quite sweet, apple, alcohol, grains. Decent for a malt liquor.

1 pint, 0.9 fl oz bottle. Pours hay, straw yellow with a thin fizzy white head, bubbly. Aroma is light malt (grain, meal) and sour yeast (sweat, horse blanket) and flowers, grassy. Light sweetness, sour tart yeast, grainy malt, medium bitter and medium acidity. Light bodied and fizzy, burpy palate.

Bottle - 500ml. Pale gold body with instant-fading white frothy head. Malty aroma with sweet hints. Boring malty/sweet taste that ends with a short bittersweet finish. Another bland East European Strong Lager.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a clear yellow colour with a white head. Aroma of grains, sweet orange and alcohol. Flavour of grainy malts, strong glue-like alcohol, some grassy hops and raisins. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a burning alcohol finish with some malts. Unpleasant.

Really pale lager. Faint hoppy aroma. Taste is little peasoup-like with some bitterness.
