1.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Poured this cold with an average sized, foamy, off-white head that settles after a bit and some lace. Color is a clear yellow with lots of bubble trails. Aroma is beery, a little sweet and mild. Flavor isn’t so good - sweet, corn, lots of carbonic tang, almost no hop or malt. Body is a bit watery and carbonation is fizzy. Finish is dominated by the tang, is burpy, and a little sweet. Won’t finish the glass.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottled, 500ml from Lithuanica, Birmingham. Pale straw with short white head. Thin, grainy, watery pale lager, supposed to be packed with Saaz, but not my bottle, mine had a slightly sweet, candy flavour rather than a sharpish lemon hint. Pretty poor to be honest.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a hazy dark gold with a light ring head and bits of lace. It certainly isn’t a winner, but with light caramel malt and mild carbonation/ hop bittering in the finish, it is as good or better than many other "industrial" pale lagers. Not a keeper, but slug it down the next time you finish with the lawn, and you’ll like it enough.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from shop on Rookery Road, Handsworth. Very pale, with a quickly receding white cloudy head. Pretty plain lager. Very smooth on the tongue, like rolled biscuit dough. Not massively exciting. A bit sour on finish too.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
500ml bottle in a shaker. Pours light golden with a white head. Aroma of pale malts and a little hops. Flavor not bad for a pale lager, but really light. A decent beer of the style.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pale yellow with a bit of haze. Beery, fruity, sweet-smelling nose. Lively carbonation up front; watery toward the finish. Malts were light, hay-like and papery. Hops were reminiscent of old herbs. Only a faint bitterness. Nip of white wine in the background. Not entirely undrinkable, but I still poured out half the bottle.
