3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from varirty pack from Big Lots!. Hazy golden straw color on the pour. Aroma is strong on the wheat and yeast. Good deal of spiciness as well. Dry grainy flavors. Not nearly as sweet as the aroma. Decent drinker.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Drinking from a bottle of Miltenberger Helles Hefe Weizen: It poured a hazy straw body with a huge rocky head that left thick rings of lace. It had a wheaty aroma with lemon, clove, and banana in that order. Spritzy mouthfeel. The strong lemon presence combined with the carbonation made itseemsoda-like until banana, bubblegum, and clove joined in. Pretty refreshing brew.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
11.2 oz bottle. As others have stated, this is the Miltenberger Helles Hefe Weizen. I’m not big on Hefeweizen usually because of the citris tartness, but this is mild on that, smoother tasting with only a touch of lemon, banana and yeast. This is a hefe I could like.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I had this in the closing minutes of the Cowboy/Philly game to celabrate the Cowboy Victory. It Pour lightly cloudy, golden with a mostly off-white head. Aroma of banana, sweet yeast. Taste is of banana, pear and bubble gum. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Very nice Hefe.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a very cloudy hazy straw yellow, fizzy white head, with a nice film sitting on top of beer. Coriander aroma, grainy, some zest. Spicy touch, coriander, hazy wheat, citrus in the finish. Tasty, simple, drinkable, and not bad.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JUN 27, 2009 The aroma has incense, wheat, banana, and cloves. The appearance is hazy gold with a large head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it’s a good hefe.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
I don’t see Kalt-Loch anywhere; mine’s a 4-pack of 330 ml Miltenberger Helles Hefe Weizen brought over by Bavaria Imports. Brags of a cold-track system to keep it fresh, and it seems to be, but is still affordable. Looks like a hefe, fluffy white head and all. Smells of banana. My gripe is that it is overly tart, dominating any banana or spice. Kind of light as well. Still pretty good. I’d chill it more than usual.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy yellow, decent lasting head, nice enough. Aroma was soft clove, lemon, and faint banana. Flavor is wheat, a suprise appearance by bubblegum as clove fades into the background, some banana, and a lemony finish. Not bad, a fair amount going on here, subtle, with nothing over the top. Would prefer a bit more malt firmness.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. I’m assuming this goes here. The label says that this is the Miltenberger Helles Hefe Weizen @ 4.9% ABV. Back label states Brewed by Miltenberger Brewery D-63987 Miltenberg, Germany. Pours cloudy gold. Small white head. Nose is wheat, soft yeast, bubblegum, candy, spice, and lemon. Taste is sweet malts, wheat, yeast grains, spice, and banana. Soft lemon and bubblegum here too. Body is light and bubbly. Soft feel to the carbonation. Finish amps up the yeast and wheat. Bigger lemony tartness, malts, grains, light spice and fruit notes. Not bad on a warm night.
