A yellow beer with a fine but disappearing head. The aroma is weak, but sweet. The flavor is sweet and malty with notes of hay and straws, and pretty carbonated. A fresh pilsener.

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Croatian version brewed by Jadranska Pivovara, Split. Golden, slightly hazy. Thick, creamy head. Malty and quite hoppy - typical German Pils. 5/2/5/2/10=2,4 010604

(Bottle 33 cl) Swedish version brewed by Krönleins Bryggeri in Halmstad. Pale golden with a fine, small head. Nice, aromatic hop character but not very bitter. This is one malty beer of high drinkability.5/3/5/2/10=2,5 210800 and 040203

Pilsner above the average for a common bar in Italy. Light malt aroma, some malt flavor, light sweetness, honey note. Ordinary finish.

Oakes (10215) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 22, 2003
UPDATED: APR 23, 2005 Contract brewed at FX Matt. Slightly hazy tannish colour...rather un-pils like. Caramelly, slightly nutty aroma. Slightly watery. Slightly hedgey hop note. Hint of plastic. Sightly sticky finish, watery. Not very good and not very much of a pilsner. The English version is even worse.

imdownthepub (7494) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 6, 2004
Bottled, pasteurised. Pale gold with gassed head. I thought I was buying something exotic, just goes to show. Cheap overbrewed flavour, boiled cabbage in the background, highly carbonated on the tongue. Poor.

version at 6% - I had this beer many years ago at one time when I was only giving ratings to the beers but was too lazy and stupid to write down my thoughts. I will update this as soon as I get my hands on this beer again.
