Nose: noble cheesy hops, dry malt. Taste: crisp malt, some noble hop flavour, nice crisp biterness and chewy body. Good lager.

Bottled, the brewed under licence Croatian version. Distinctly lemony, musty hops on snout with a hint of ganja leafiness. Brazenly citrussy for a sensible Germanic pils, to the same extent as a watery pasteurised English GA (Young’s Kew?). Refreshingly fruity pils/pale lager driven by the hops and not cereally malts and adjuncts for a change. Mandarin/satsuma hints, and a nibble of quality here.

Pale blonde colour with a tall white head. Sweet perfumy, honey aroma. Crisp flavour with a spicy saaz end. hmmm....kind of like a cross between a pils and a kolsch.

Yellow colour. Malty. An average pilsener. I had the 3.5 % alc. version from Sweden. This was a surprisingly good experience. Reminds me of the normal Danish pilseners.

Brewed by the license at Jadranska Pivovara, Croatia. Bottle 0,5 l. Yellow body, moderate head, diminishing quite fastly (nice sound). Strong aroma, good taste. did not like this one before exactly because of quite bitter and a bit soapy taste. Somehow watery finish, short.

lusikka (2536) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 17, 2011
500 ml bottle, 4.5% ABV. BBE 26.06.2011.
Pours a clear golden colour with lazy bubbles and a white foamy head. Aroma of surprisingly strong grassy hops. Flavour of bitter grassy hops, some peach and mild bready malts. Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel and rough carbonation. Finish of dry, bitter hops and bread. This is hoppier than an average British bitter.
