Bottle. Dark brown with a beige head. Aromas are rich sweet malts with light roast notes. Smoky with evident alcohol. Flavours are molasses with sweet caramel and chocolate malts. Rich, smoky and spicy. Warming alcohol. Malty, tasty and powerful.

Jul 3, 2008 Big thanks to pivnizub for the beer! The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Fine brown head. Tastes not as strong as exspected, constant malty, finish a little bit smoky. Very drinkable doppelbock. Well done!

Jun 22, 2008 Bottle at ÅBF08. Roasted, sweet malt aroma. The flavour also has some roast, sweet malt. Good alcohol level. Clear brown colour. No head. Nice hint of lagering.

Jun 5, 2008 Dark mahogany with a red hue. The aroma has a malty sweetness, notes of roasted malt and caramel. The flavour has sweetness, notes of roasted malt, caramel, candy sugar. It’s pretty intense, but I think it’s vanishing rather quickly. It hides the alcohol extremely well!
