Bottle (thanx to joss !): Golden, bigger loose white head with a good lace; light metallic nose with a vinous touch, all in all the usual suspects in the nose: grains, pale malt and so on; soft MF, medium bodied; solid sweet, a bit almondy finish with a hoppy touch in the aftertaste. Good, but not great.........

(bottle) Clear, greenish golden colour with a medium-sized, quite persistent foamy white head. Light-sweet, slightly sour doughy malt aroma with grainy accents and a whiff of herbal hops. Slightly bitter flavour; doughy and slightly nutty taste; medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation; sweet-bitter, (hazel-)nutty and shy herbal hoppy finish (16.07.08).

Bottle. Pale golden, nice white foam. Sweet and perfumed malt nose. Papery, light dusty malt base - lightbodied, sticky exit. Subdued hop counterpoint. Dusty retronasal.

On tap at König Von Bayern In saarbrueken. Clear gold color, abit of hoppiness, a decent brew, good with my meal, but nothing "spezial"

Bottle. Pale gold with a large white, but pretty quickley reducing, head. Malty aroma with some citrus. Taste is grainy with some citrus fruit. Slightly sour/metallic and dry finish. Crisp and refreshing. Simple but pretty good.

Bottled. Pale beer with a light head, the aroma is malty and floury in texture, the flavour is very dry with a fruity finish. Overall a plain strong German lager.

Golden with a small head. Aromas are sweet lemon - and lots of it, caramel malts, butter. Oddly, like a Marstons bottle ale, but better. Flavours are sweet grain, lemon, metallic hops with more fruitiness. Nice and dry. Quite crisp and clean. Dry and hoppy on the finish. Simple - but I like it.

From tap. Called special, but it hasn’t got anything special. Unclear, brown coloured. Medium head. A little extra fruit in the flavor.

clear pale golden colour, few head, herbal, few hops, oily and heavy - disappointing
