Bottle courtesy of coldbrewky and cuso. Drinking while watching the season 2 finale of GOT. The bottle opens with a loud POP! Pours jet black capped by a large 3 finger crater rock tan head with excellent retention. Nose of roast, chocolate, and lots of flowery hop, faint citrus. Lots of lovely lacing. Big full body of chocolate and roasted coffee. Lots of bitterness with lingering flower hop presence. Yeah man!!! The slovaks are up to speed on RIS.

(swing top bottle, 33cl) Black-as-coal coloured hue with a huge and brown foamy head. Roast-malty aroma with notes of chocolate, caramel, leather, berries and citric noble hops. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Roasty and leathery malt-character with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, a whiff of smoke and present fruity notes; dry-ish, moderately roasted malty finish with notes of chocolate, fruity hops and a warming alcoholic bite. 28.V.12
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 StefanSD (1588) - Lakeside, California, USA - MAY 11, 2012
Bottled from Coldbrewky. Thanks Steve. Pours an opaque black color with a huge brown head that has great retention. The aroma showcases well roasted dark grains, some burnt toast and coffee. The flavor is more roasted grains, oak, bitter walnuts and dark bitter chocolate. The palate full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finishes long and dry with a bit of acidity. Overall: Very tasty brew, it reminds me of GF Silva stout. cheers
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 hurut (16) - , HUNGARY - APR 10, 2012
Bottled. Really fine brew from Kaltenecker, with two, thoufh, harmonizing faces. On one hand, it is heavily roasted, with intense chocolate notes - on the other hand it is intensely dominated by hops, balanced on the edge of citrus and herbs-like characters.
Thick, black body with generous, deep brown foam. Definately the best from the brewery so far.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 JorisPPattyn (6748) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - APR 5, 2012
Huge, dark brown-greige head, pretty stable over black beer, viscously pouring. End of bottle solid yeast. Ink, C-hops, straw or silodust, chocolate, suggesting melanoidins. Very bitter black coffee, ashes, tobacco, bitter pure chocolate. Very roasted in any case, alcohol and even fusels obvious. Again dry UK or USA hops, if less easily recognisable than in the nose. Very thick, viscous and oily; mild alcoholburn, utterly full-bodied; creamy texture. Quite good R.I.S., they could deliver in St. Petersburg! Na Zdravie, Peter!

UPDATED: APR 1, 2012 Initially overlarge head that takes a little while to settle. Little lace.Black brew. Nose is seriously roasty with a little tartness. Lacto?? Light woody notes, faintly vinous. Body is medium with a soft carbonation, dry, lil tart. Large roastyness with dry chocolate notes, cocoa, lil wood, earth, black patent malts, light acidity. Bone dry, roasty finish, lasting and chalky. Me like. nice beer, stevely. Thank you sir! Props to coldbrewky for this RARE brew.Love me some Slovakian RIS,s!

330 ml bottle. From Cuso. Ďakujem vám!
Black colour with ridiculously big greyish brown frothy head.
Roasted malt, fruity hops, coffee and berries.
Nice bitter fruitiness...
Flavour is ash, dark roasted malt, liquorice, some hops and mild coffee.
Bitterness in aftertaste. Complex and balanced.
Enjoyable and tasty.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2012 Baby swing top in trade with Cuso......If we do any further trades, this must be automatically included without discussion. Bottled January 2011. Holy carbonation. head grows like expanding foam. Burnt umber head settles slowly and releases the most luscious chocolate malt nose I have ever smelled from a commercial beer. Tons of chocolate malt and a healthy ratio of black patent malts as well. Sheer gluttony. Strangely wnough the body is not overwhelming. Steadilly sweet with the omnipresent chocolate malts with strong biting backing of black patent. Body is the chocolate on bl pat. Finish is Black patent on chocolate. Simply fantastic.

A szénfekete folyadék hátán masszív vörösesbarna habkorona.
