Draught at Piritos, Budapest. Misty red-black body. Thick off white head that went away slowly. Sourish malty nose. Carroty malty roasty taste. Light tartness, light bitterness - not much hop.

Small, but reasonably stable light-beige head over practically black beer. End of bottle solid yeast. Chocolate, with distinct praliné aroma, then relieved by very inviting noble hops. Coffeeish, even ashy flavours mixed with more chocolate (black & milk). Mildly roasted witha pinch of lactose. Not very well-bodied, feels well-carbonated and moderately slick. This is pretty good, and goes well beyond your ordinary Dunkel. Many thanks to Peter V., and all the people he mobilized to get the beers to Ursel!

(bottle, 100cl) Hazy, dark brown colour with a beige and short foamy head. Mildly roasted malty aroma with distinctive notes of dark and milk chocolate. Moderately sweet and roassty bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Roasty malty taste with present notes of chocolate; sweet-bitter and mildly roasty finish. Pleasant Dunkel. 27.XII.11

1 000 ml plastic bottle. From Cuso. Big thank you!
Dark brown almost black colour with average size tan head. Roasted malt, buttery sweetness (diacetyl) and mild dryness in aroma. Flavour is roasted malt, dry hops, mild coffee, some sweetness and grain.

Bottle (1000ml , kindly delivered by Cuso !):Hazy, ruby and dark-amber coloured, mid-sized fluffy tanned head, moderate dryish chalky and toasty-chocolatey nose; very soft, medium bodied, moderate sweet-bitter flavour; slightly lingering fruity-toasty finish, cacao-powder in the aftertaste. Velmi dobré slovenské pivo…

On draft at Piritos in Budapest. Looks the part and in good order. However, it has the taste of one of those coffee beers that is made from granules, added at some point, making oine wonder why they do that. The sweetness enhances that effect somehow.

Tasted on tap at Piritos in Budapest. Medium brown beer with medium head. As a B13 it is a bit sweet but unfotunately also sour because of the long time on the tap..

A dark brown coloured beer with a thin, off-white head. The aroma is absolutely similar to a cup of coffee. The taste is malty with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and roasted malt. The finish is bitter-sweet. A good one...!

1L bottle via Cuso. Dark ruby pour with some central brown tone. Thick spongy tan head. Nose of red wine mixed with sweet dark malt. Upfront cereal tone is quickly overwhelmed by wine infused oakyness. Tart center with a loitering finish. Body is medium and short-lived. If there are any hops in this dunkel they have been consumed by the wet oak / wine bittering. A very nice change of pace. D’akujem vám!

bottle, kindly donated by Cuso - thank you! Deep brown colour, large and creamy beige head. Aroma of roasted malts. Full-bodied, solid malt flavours with lots of caramel and dark chocolate. Lingering finish with just the right amount of hops to round it off. Delicious.
