On tap in Piritós (Budapest). Dark colour. A little head and it’s down very quickly. Coffe and roasted malt in the flavour. The taste is sour and a little bit lactate. Very weak body. Malt is too strong and alcohol taste too. It seems like it didn’t fermentet to enough time. It was a pure beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Small, but reasonably stable light-beige head over practically black beer. End of bottle solid yeast. Chocolate, with distinct praliné aroma, then relieved by very inviting noble hops. Coffeeish, even ashy flavours mixed with more chocolate (black & milk). Mildly roasted witha pinch of lactose. Not very well-bodied, feels well-carbonated and moderately slick. This is pretty good, and goes well beyond your ordinary Dunkel. Many thanks to Peter V., and all the people he mobilized to get the beers to Ursel!
