It’s not really a Christmas Tasting in Odense. Dark brown with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with a roasted note of licorice. Dry and slightly tart roasted flavour giving it a very thin feel

bottle, kindly donated by Cuso - thank you! Deep brown colour, large and creamy beige head. Aroma of roasted malts. Full-bodied, solid malt flavours with lots of caramel and dark chocolate. Lingering finish with just the right amount of hops to round it off. Delicious.

JorisPPattyn (8232) - Ursel, BELGIUM - APR 1, 2012
Small, but reasonably stable light-beige head over practically black beer. End of bottle solid yeast. Chocolate, with distinct praliné aroma, then relieved by very inviting noble hops. Coffeeish, even ashy flavours mixed with more chocolate (black & milk). Mildly roasted witha pinch of lactose. Not very well-bodied, feels well-carbonated and moderately slick. This is pretty good, and goes well beyond your ordinary Dunkel. Many thanks to Peter V., and all the people he mobilized to get the beers to Ursel!
