on tap at the christmas beer festival in prague. very close to black, some roasty coffee flavours, quite dry with some brown sugar, faintly salty, not bad for slovak beer

Tasted on tap at Piritos in Budapest. Medium brown beer with medium head. As a B13 it is a bit sweet but unfotunately also sour because of the long time on the tap..

33cl bottle, courtesy of Cuso. - More of a watery porter with a great roasted malt quality and some hop character, better than any Schwarzes but still not a likely favourite stylewise.

draught (at pivovarsky klub). completely black with a touch of ruby at the thinnest part of the glass. thick, fluffy light brown head. sweet coffee nose with a light hint of chocolate and toffee. flavor is coffee-heavy with less depth than the nose. mouthfeel is chalky, dry. really wish it tasted as nice as it looks and smells.

On beer tasting in Minipivovar rychtar Jakub, Bratislava. Dark brown color with medium beige head. Aroma, chocolate, red fruit. Taste, coffee, chocolate, hints of forest fruits. Drinkable beer.

Pirítós Bar, Budapest. Sötétbarna szín, kitartó bézs habbal. Illata pörkölt malátás, illetve kissé savanyú. Ízvilága sem túl összetett, pörkölt jegyek, kávé és enyhe savanykás íz. Közepesen testes, kissé ízetlen. de azért egy tisztességes, ivósörnek való dunkel. A várakozásaimhoz mérten azonban csalódás volt.

Draught at Piritos, Budapest. Misty red-black body. Thick off white head that went away slowly. Sourish malty nose. Carroty malty roasty taste. Light tartness, light bitterness - not much hop.

33 cl bottle. Pours dark brown with a small tan head, deep orange glare. Roasted malty and breadish. Roasted malty, bitter, breadish and dry caramelish. Mild milky note into the finish. Bitter and dry.

Pet-bottle from Cuso, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Roast, dark chocolate and licorice in the aroma. Roast and apple syrup in the flavor. Fairly low on carbon. Maybe a bit past its peak.

1L plastic bottle. Dark brown color with little creamy head. Aroma of coffee. So lot of coffee and chocolate in flavor. Bitter aftertaste of chocolate. Interesting, but no more.
