3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2015 Bottle from Cuso in the latest Euro Swap, thanks!
I unorthodoxly had this from the bottle during band rehearsal so appearance is set to a median 3.
Aroma has lots of sweet malt, pine and thick cut orange marmalade.
Taste is pretty much as the aroma but could do with more bitterness punch.
Light to medium body, low carbonation, dry.
Ok IPA but some more bitterness couldn’t hurt. Still, perfect and refreshing for a rehearsal.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 ml bottle from a trade with Werckmeister. Thanks!
Dark amber to copper, hazy body, with a quite small, lacing, creamy, off-white head.
Aroma of citrus, tangerine, orange, apricot, some vegetables, grass, bread, some honey.
Taste is pretty much the same.
Quite light mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, zesty, a bit piney, with some herbs.
Very nice! Interesting mix of fresh citrus fruits and grassy notes, with a subtle, smooth malt backbone. A bit too less variety in the hop notes though. Overall nothing outstanding, but a refreshing and crisp IPA still.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled, 500 ml.
Clear amber body with a creamy and lasting off-white pillow on its top.
Mild grapefruity, somewhat yeasty nose. and aroma underpainted by mild sweet caramel, herbs, hints of florals and minerals, mouthfeel is slick.
Lingering, sweetbitter finish with orange peel and some gently warming alcohol.
Refined, very good.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle received from MisoW as part of local swap world wide edition -- Pours an Amber with quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is sweet malt and sweet hops. Flavor is a nice clean malt with persistent floral hops coming through on the end. Pleasant sipper.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
50cl bottle from Secret Santa, thanks Cuso! bbe 05/15. Pours deep amber with a thick white head. Caramel, citrus, biscuity malt aroma. Flavor has citrus, biscuits, minerals, dark fruity notes. Decent bitterness in the finish. English style. Nog sure of that was intended, but quite drinkable as it is. Bit heavy perhaps.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at home from my European secret Santa, cheers!
slightly yoghurty mango lassi aroma. Hazy dark amber with offwhite lacing. Fairly pithy bitterness balanced by sweet caramalt and fruity peel. Good level of bitterness but not enough hop loveliness for me.

Jun ’14. A 0.33 l bottle kindly given away by Kaltenecker crew when we met in Zagreb, thanks guys! It poured hazy caramel-copper body with really tiny head. Straightforward orange hop aroma rounded by biscuit malt, typical but fine. Flavor was bitter, herbal with pleasant fruity and caramel malty counterpart. Touch of darker malt like raisins. Medium bodied with longer biscuit and bitter herbal finish. Might have been a bit less bitter than typical style example. Simple, but effective, a pleasant IPA, brewmasters didn’t want to take any chances here, for good.
