Bottle. Orange blonde color. Banana, citrus and hints of milk in the aroma and flavor. Refreshing hefe weizen, can be compared with Bavarian weizenbeers.

From 0.5l bottle to the weissbier glass. BBD: 30.06.2014 . APP: Pours nice cloudy straw to orange liquid. Medium frothy white head, relatively quickly fall down but at the end holds some minimal thickness. AR: strong aroma of wheat malt, banana, some citrus notes T: medium sweet, light sour. Light to medium bitter aftertaste. Very pleasant typical weissbier. PAL: Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation. OV: Very pleasent beer. I appreciate it.

Bottle (diky, Jirko!): Golden. hazy, small white foamy layer, wheaty-grainy nose with hints of bubble-gum and a slight tinge of alcohol; moderate bitter-sweet flavour with a sourish touch, light to medium bodied; a tinge of yeast in the grainy finish, followed by a tart fruitiness. O.K., at least drinkable...

ThirstyBird (1703) - Düsseldorf, GERMANY - OCT 23, 2013
Thank you to MisoW for the bottle! Pours a cloudy pale yellow with an off-white head. The smell is wheat, banana, sweet light malt. The taste is mild banana, wheat and ends dry. Overall a bit mild but certainly drinkable.

Erzengel (3552) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 23, 2013
Thanks to MisoW for the bottle. Shared with ThirstyBird. Nose is quite neutral, a bit sweet. The beer starts yeasty, but no banana or clove. A bit neutral/watery. The mainpart is nice, but quite neutral. Not much aroma. The aftertaste is a bit Weizen-typical, but not special, quite watery and neutral. --> nice beer, but lacks a bit on aroma... But highly drinkable for sessions! --> 10/12/9/10

0.33l bottle from trade with MisoW. This is a cloudy pale orange colored one with a nice big and lasting eggshell white top, good retention and good lacing. The nose is filed with sweet eastern banana tones all the way, a good day of cardboard, the dry papery kind. Some good traces of butter and diacetyl also found here, and hints of dried orange. It’s quite thin and flat in the mouth, almost no carbonation left at all here. Wheaty semi dry flavors. Wish it had a bit more carbonation as I suspect the flavors would be a bit more present. Light mouthdrying, sweet and again some wet cardboard in the finish aftertaste. Lacks some archtypicallities that I feel should be present in a heffe. A fair wheat not much more, but my first Slovakian. Thanks MisoW! 30.08.2013

Geiserich (3467) - Linz, AUSTRIA - OCT 7, 2013
Bottle via trade from Cuso: Aroma with wheat, yeast and spices. Very hazy, pale yellow color, creamy white head. Flavor is also mainly wheat, sweetness and notes of oranges. Light yeasty. Ok wheat without anything special.

Douberd (2597) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - OCT 1, 2013
Bottle 330 ml, thanks to MisoW! Poured into a weizen glass. ABV 4.7% Bright but pale orange colour on the body, with a two fingers tall and thick, white head. Good retention, medium thick lacing on the glass. Lazy but continuous activity. Aroma is of wheat but light, stronger citrus. Some cookie dough as well. Taste is quite sweet with lots of wheat and cookie dough, bisquits. The citrus fruits are more notable on the aftertaste, balancing with their acidity this beer. Medium body, good carbonation. Nice dryness on the palate. Overall a pretty good weizem , it lacks some of the usual banana and bubblegum but the cookie dough makes a worthy replacement.

Bottle, thnx to MisoW, cheers! Pours a slightly hazed, blonde beer with a very thin white head on top. Aroma of banana, cloves and yeast. Typical weizen, which is good. Flavour is very mildly sweet and fresh, very easy drinkable. Flat carbo and slightly watery mouthfeel, which suits the style in my humble opinion. Well crafted German Hefeweizen from Slovakia!
