Deep golden, slightly hazy, small white head. Mild sweet malts, hints of butterscotch & cigar tobacco. Slightly sweet with cheerios and a light grapefruit flavors. Subtle hops at the end that fade away too quick. Crisp bitter aftertaste. Not bad but at about $6.00 a bottle, one is enough for me.

33 cl bottle at a tasting on October 30, 2013 (backlog). Thanks to Ingo!
Marked 13.09.16.
Light hazy with tiny particles, golden color, smallish off-white head. Wort, sweet, sugary scent. Sweet, mineral, wort taste. Flat, mineral, wort aftertaste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, low to medium low bitterness.

Mild orange, malty aroma. Cereal flavor, honey, apricot, sweet finish. Interesting malty local brew, but a bit too sweet overall.

Bottle brought back from Japan and shared by Keir- thanks again, Keir! Pours a clear, light amber with a small eggshell white head. Sweet malts and a medicinal note in the nose. Same with the flavor, which has a medicinal note throughout along with butter, malts, and what almost seems like booze. Medium-bodied, with low carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. Not bad because of the big malts, but seems off.

Bottled. Light copper color, medium, foamy head. Malty, fruity, and spicy aroma, with citrus, caramel. Light, fruity flavor, lots of caramel. Some citrus. Gets decently hoppy and biter at the end, but not much for aroma hops. Tasty enough, but not really memorable. Rather bland. A fruity, rather sweet English pale ale that is reasonably well balanced and tasty, but not very memorable.
