2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - DEC 15, 2003
Light banana and citrus aroma. Dark yellow/golden color, hazy, good lace. Dusty flavor, light sour, metallic and a bit vommit flavor in the back, dry finish. Although almost undrinkable there still is a Duvel like flavor. Could it be they used the samen yeast?
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 bierkoning (8109) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - DEC 14, 2003
UPDATED: NOV 11, 2005 Golden color, hazy. Fermented with Duvel yeast, I guess. You can smell it. Dusty aroma with a hint of citrus. Banana and cream in the flavor. A homebrew taste. This beer must be infected. Some hops, dirty, rancid palate.
Re-rate: bottle bought in Grobbendonk in september 2005. Again a heavily infected botle.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Kåstå (1221) - Mol, BELGIUM - APR 28, 2003
The blondest amber I have ever seen. Blond beer with tiny yeast flakes. Medium slightly creamy head. Rubber wheel hop aroma. Bitter hoppy taste. Dry rubbery finish. I wonder if they have not mixed up the labels. This is more a blond or a trippel like beer. It is ok but not what I expected.
