JorisPPattyn (5155), Antwerpen, Belgium May 28, 2009 Slight gushing to huge, just yellowish head, with nice lace, over hazy orange-ochre beer. Very fruity nose, oranges, kumquat or grapefruit peel, and some pale malts. Dry, nicely hopped flavour, impression of rye or wholemeal grain. Again fruity, citrussy notes. Pretty chewy, certainly for a tripel; with long-lasting bitterish flow. Ah - a EU hopped beer that is well-balanced, and yet forceful in α-acids. Good!
