4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft. Pours light ruby/amber with fluffy white head that dissipates to some pretty lacing. Nose is pungent hops and citrus fruit. Taste is hugely bitter with strong citrus/tropical fruit underpinnings. Great soft, juicy palate. Total show stopper. One of the best local beers I've ever had the pleasure of drinking.

Tap at Dinosaur BBQ in Newark was hoping they would have some Kane on tap. Pours clear orange with fine one finger head. Nose is sticky citrus and other summer fruits. Tastes of oranges, grapefruit, mango, some spicy pepper, hot alcohol, and candy. Fine balance semi thick palate. Pretty damn solid.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
32oz growler from the brewery pours a clear orange with some creamy, white head. Nose is solid, quite old school, big sticky pine, orange peel, some soap, some honey comb, mild herb, grapefruit. Flavor is a good mix of malty/honey sweetness and juicy citrus, pithy too, orange and grapefruit mostly, some pine but less than the nose, a little dried grass. Full bodied, bitter finish.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Growler. Poured a thin white head of varying sized bubbles. Lots of white sediment settles out of the brew while standing. Not sure if it is yeast, grains or hops. Interesting hoppy aroma with some rubber, oranges, stinky feat and caramel malts. Color is a very cloudy golden orange. Primarily hops in the flavor with some roasted grains, dried orange peel and some string beans. Noticeable alcohol presence and warming. Finishes dry and bitter with a bit of pastyness. A decent brew with some strange flavors and aromas.

draft at a bar in jersey, malty, tons of piney hops, bitter finish and boozy. There is jet fuel aromas in there, and the body is thin making the alcohol even more prevalent. Oof.

Pours a golden orange appearance with an off white head. Fair amount of tropical fruit, smarties, slightly herbal aroma. Kind of juicy, dry herbal / grassy, mango, pineapple flavor. Light to moderate sweetness. Moderate bitterness. Not all that bad.

On tap at Tap House - Wayne. Continue to be impressed with Kane. Best brewery in Jersey. Pours a hazy golden color with orange hue and white foam head. Aroma of grapefruit, caramel and earthiness. Sweet citrus taste with excellent hop hit and refreshing crack end. Boozy. But the perfect level for a DIPA. Very enjoyable.

hazy gold, thin white head. Peppery orange and light rye spice dominate nose, sticky orange and sugar front palate, mid papery oxidation with light bread before sticky, juicy orange end. Too much sugar but the yeast spicing keeps it from tooth decay.
