4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft. Pours light ruby/amber with fluffy white head that dissipates to some pretty lacing. Nose is pungent hops and citrus fruit. Taste is hugely bitter with strong citrus/tropical fruit underpinnings. Great soft, juicy palate. Total show stopper. One of the best local beers I've ever had the pleasure of drinking.

Tap at the brewery. Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium, frothy white head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is biscuit and honey malt, earthy, pine, and citrus hops with pear esters. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, supporting malt, fruity esters and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is a solid imperial IPA - best one Iíve had from NJ by a long shot. On tap at Barcade in Jersey City. Beer pours gold with a red tint; big hoppy aroma with some maltiness back there - you can tell itís not Head High. Attack is big hops with some bitterness and some big, thickish mouthfeel, a slight hoppy burn and a hoppy finish. Solid big IPA.

On draft at Salt Gastropub in Byram. My first from this brewer. Grapefruit and pine flavors come through but not overpowering. Glad to see NJ getting more local craft home brews. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at PJ Whelihans in Washington Twp, NJ. Came to NJ seeking Carton or Kane and found this guy. Solid beer, but nothing that made me want a second glass. Curious to try another from them since it showed potential.
