Draft. Pours near black with a thin head. Roasted and lightly sweet malts, coffee, a hint of anise, and lighter floral hops in the finish. good stuff.

On tap at Barcade Jersey City, clean lines. Kane’s first anniversary party. Beer pours black, with slight head retention. Aroma is toasted malt and alcohol. Taste is sharper than expected, with a full body but with some more-sour-than-needed edges. Solid beer, still; just missing something - perhaps too little flavor to balance out the ABV.

Draft. Black pour with brown head. Dark malt, spice and almost licorice like aromas. Roasted, chocolate, and a bit of bittering tones of flavor.
