COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Single Fin is a Belgian-style Blonde Ale. This beer is modeled after a Belgian Single or Enkel which is a low-alcohol table beer for monks in Trappist monastery. They are traditionally brewed for daily consumption and can be difficult to find beyond the walls of the monastery. The concept behind Single Fin was to make available locally a low alcohol, but flavorful beer that retained the traditional profile and body of a Trappist-style beer.

Growler from Joe Canal’s in Lawrenceville, NJ. Pours a cloudy pale golden color with a creamy white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is light wheat malt with notes of honey and yeast. Light bready malt flavor has notes of wheat and lemony hops. Light bodied and refreshing.

Draft at the brewery. Hazy gold. Aroma is light fruit esters, honey, and banana. The taste adds light yeast and floral notes. The palate has a clean dry finish and is very light overall. Great job by Kane.

Draft- pours a hazy golden brew. It has all the good characteristics of a pale ale and Belgian ale. It is way more a Belgian ale. Good smooth and drinkable.

The description says summer seasonal so I suppose this is the latest batch for 2013. Had it on tap at High Street Grill in Mt. Holly NJ. Pours yellow with a white head. Nice fruity aroma with a bit of hops. The flavor has a typical Belgian taste with a good amount of hops. Very dry and refreshing. I will look for this one when it gets hot and sweltering in the Jersey summer.
