Aroma is heavy malt (molasses, chocolate, toasted, nutty), light hops (grass), average yeast (leather) with notes of dates, tar, and charcoal. Medium bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonation, and a bitter finish. Aromas of chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Palate was light bodied and very smooth. Flavors of coffee, vanilla and cocoa with a smooth lingering bitter finish.
