Commercial Description:
A traditional German style unfiltered wheat beer, the Highside is brewed with a special Bavarian yeast to produce unique clove and citrus flavors as well the aroma of banana. Very refreshing!

On tap at the brewpub in Grand Junction. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a medium white head. The aroma was full of tons of spices and loads of banana. The flavor was similar; loads of sweet banana and a huge clove and other spice flavors. A medium mouthfeel, pretty nice. A good hefe. Very aggressive but also easygoing.

Light, refreshing. a good summer beverage. Quite typical of the style with appropriate spice, cloudiness and light mouth feel.

Draught at brewery. Pours clear yellow with a small, fizzy, white head, mostly diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (hay, straw), average hops (citrus), average yeast (dough) with notes of banana, clove, and bubble gum. Light bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

On tap @ Kannah Creek poured a cloudy gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of BIG BANANA, light bubblegum and a hint of clove. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of wheat, banana and a hint of clove with a crisp clean finish.
