Kannah Creek Standing Wave Pale Ale

A nice pale ale, which is somewhat unfair, as I don’t really like the style. the commercial discription is accurate to a T.

Draught at brewery. Pours clear amber with a small, fizzy, white head, lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, hay, meal), average hops (flowers, citrus), average yeast (sweat) with notes of apple and pear. Medium bodied, thin texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness and acidity, moderate bitterness.

Growler poured a clear amber with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of carmel, pine, light citrus and a hint of earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, orange, grapefruit and a hint of pine with a lingering moderatly bitter finish.
