Dark gold in color with a thick, tight, rocky, white head with lots of bubbles rising through the beer. A classic pilsner aroma with new mown hay and a touch of complimentary, noble hop. Very refined and appetizing aroma. Fresh hop flavor and a soft overall character from the extensive aging. A long palate of complex, classic pils flavors and a hop acidity that kicks in late in the palate but drives an incredibly long finish that returns every time you swallow even if there is no beer in your mouth. This is immaculate and probably the best pils I have ever had.

Bottle courtesy of douglas88. Pours a hazy amber with a thin white head. Smells of oranges, caramel, some dry fruity hints. Tastes lightly fruity and citrussy with some doughy hints and dry malt. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is slightly salty and heavy. Some hints of bitterness is also present. Nice!

Tolles Bier!

500ml flip top bottle. Pours a pale gold that is crystal clear and almost pineapple colored. The head is big fluffy and white and leaves nice lacing as it recedes. The smell is grainy with a touch of hops. It is a pleasant smell. It is sweet with a bitter hop end. The hops are grassy and herbal while the malts are slightly fruity. It is a well balanced pils. It is an easy drinking Austrian pils. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 03-07-2010 19:21:31

Pours an otherwise pale straw golden with a pretty thick off-white head that settles fairly quickly to a film and ring, with a thick suspended sediment in the body, and just the tiniest splotches of lace. Nose involves light sweet pale barley malt, a fair doughy yeast, light hop spice, some fruity esters, and some crackery, biscuity malt. Pretty sweet, fairly bitter. Medium bodied, fair carb action, a bit oily, bready, with a nice clean crisp hoppy bitterness on the end. This is a really cool beer, subtle yes, but well constructed and meeting somewhere between refreshing and sustaining. Great body. Nice.

Flasche 50cl. Rotblondes Bier mit feinporiger, sahniger Schaumkrone. Im Antrunk sehr malzig, Röstaromen schön erkennbar. Grasig-hopfiges Tettnanger-Finish. Insgesamt sehr harmonisch und stimmig. Schade, dass die Brauerei wohl geschlossen hat. Richtig gutes Bier!

From a bottle purchased at "Keller’s IGA" in Cincinnati, Ohio - This one pours a golden, fizzy brew with a white head of foam and a sweet bready aroma. Tastewise, it’s sweet and fruity, but not overly so. I like it!

Poured into a clear glass stein from the flip top bottle. No idea how long this has been sitting on the shelf. Pour is bubble golden with a head that is nice white lace on top of the beer and on the glass. The aroma wasn’t too pleasant when I smelled it from the bottle. Almost rotten. Now in the glass the aroma is light and sweet. Far more attractive. The flavor is light and refreshing. Mildly citrus, a touch of cleansing hops. Tasty. Why don’t American brewers make these wonderful styles?

Got this at Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin USA. Nice temperature. Poured with a nice big fluffy head, plenty of lace. Deep golden amber color. Nose is mildly hoppy, malty sweet, grassy. Flavor is the same way and a bit buttery. Nice body. Could drink a number of these. Nicely carbonated. Pleasant finish.
