COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Naturtrüb. Eingetragene Schutzmarke. Bernsteinfarben.

Hazy amber color with a poor head. Tuttifrutti aroma. I can’t write nothing about the taste: to me it tastes like a weiss bier mixed with water. Astringent palate.

I tasted a half-liter glass of a not too dark weizen beer from the Kulmbacher brewery off the barrel in Apeldoorn in Holland. The restaurant was called "De wilde Pieters" and they also had a light weizen from Kulmbach in a half-liter bottle. Both were pleasant to drink with a good scum and it stayed long on top. Taste of both excellent exactly how a weat beer from Germany should be. If you like an IPA: do not try those beers because they are EBU of max 20.

Flip-top bottled, 0.5 l. Hazy amber colour, fine pored and stabile whipped creamy head. Yeasty nose. Tasteing starts crisp followed by a mild, refined aroma containing caramel, bubblegum and bananas. Nice slick mouthfeel. Spicy-nutty-tart finish. Balanced, nice.

bottle from pivoteka in plzen. hazy amber with a lingering head; lightly dusty aroma with hints of toffee; some weird lactic acidity gives it a crisp balance to some caramel sweetness

bartlebier (1724) - Belchum im Breisgau, GERMANY - AUG 1, 2013
50cl fliptop. Red-brown "Bernstein" pour with dense head. thick and creamy mouthfeel, aromas dominated by heavy, hard-working Weizenhefe, cloudiness and dryness of a Franconian Kellerbier. Heavy notes of clove, banana, pepper. Tasty crossover verging more towards Weizen than Keller.
