Our highly-fermented wheat beer specialty with fine yeast. The alcohol is carefully extracted after filtration. This sparkling wheat beer is refreshing and is also suitable for motorists on a hot day. Alcohol-free beer.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, süß, getreidig. Geschmack hefig, gereidig süß, wässrig fruchtig.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Cloudy pale orange in colour, with an off white head. Aroma of wheat and some fruit notes. Not had many non alcohol beers over the years but this was certainly the most drinkable of those I have had.

Bottle. Hazy orangey golden with a big head. Spicy honey aroma. Sweet and spiced flavours. Not very memorable.

Wow. Simply wow. I can’t find any traces of the usual dull, worty, nauseating, non-alcoholic elements in the aroma of this one. Quite the opposite, the aroma is strong, crisp and acidic with lovely yeasty notes, spices, banana and citrus. This smells like a hefeweizen! It doesn’t look good, though, it’s got a quite dark, cloudy and dirty-looking orange body, and a bit too small off-white head that leaves virtually no lacing on the glass. The mouthfeel is also rather lousy, it’s extremely light and watery. The taste however is nice, it’s light to moderate sweet with hints of bitterness in the short finish. The flavours are impressive, again without any hints of the usual non-alcoholic off-flavours. I get sweet banana caramel, spices, yeast and a general fruitiness. Impressive stuff. For a non-alcoholic beer, that is.

Pale nice color. White fine foam. Banana and wheat aroma. Taste a bit metallic, general low on taste. Maybe little low on carbonation. It is a average good non-alcoholic beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 ml swingtop bottle, from the n/a shelf at Vinmonopolet Verksgaten, Stavanger. Cloudy honey-coloured beer, large white head. Very moderate but not unpleasant aroma of cloves and heather honey. The mouthfeel is thin and watery, of course, but the beer is not too sweet, and has some subdued notes of the typical hefeweizen elements (cloves, banana and citrus). Furthermore, it has NOT much of the typical and sickly n/a beer characteristics (over-cooked vegetables, maize baby porridge). Hell, I could actually drink this as a refreshment, when I have to drive. One of the "better" (= least miserable) n/a beers i’ve had.

Bottle. An unclear, dark golden-orange beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. Banana, grains and some orange in the aroma. Rather sweet on the palate, with flavors of banana, spent grains and bread. Some bitterness and fruityness. Quite full-bodied, with nice carbonation. Anyway, it’s certainly not a beer I’ll repeat, alcohol or not. I’d rather have a glass of water. 130119
