Tåkete brun farge med luftig skum som ligger. Lukter malt. Noe tam og noe søtlig i smak. Kjenner også noe bananlukt.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes orange-goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack hefig, leicht bananig fruchtig, minimal säuerlich.

Swing-top bottle. Decent white head to a golden body with a typical wheat haze. Sweet spiced fruits on the nose. Taste of dough, coriander and ripe banana. Sweet fruity endnotes. Soft carbonated. Thin bodied, but not diluted. Okay weizen (kindly shared by djoeye, Tromsø 27.02.2014).

0,5L bottle "Bügelverschluss" Swing-top. Scents of halfway smoked weizenmalts, coriander, sweet malts, clover-flower. Somewhat hazy body, deep golden. Deutschhhh off white head. Fresh fruity slightly smoked flavour, malts, only slightly watery, hints of clover-flower, citrus. Quite tasty for only 3.1% abv. Fresh to palate, carbonation helps. Finishes with wheat malts, spices, coriander, and again that faint hint of clover-flower. (RateMeet w Rune 2014Feb27)

Bottle from Matkroken Landås, Bergen. Pours a slightly hazy straw-hued orange body with a large cloudy white head. Nose is sweet grains, mild citric tones and hints of bread dough and mild banana. Taste is watery grainy flavors, citrus and hints of nuts and bread dough. Watery palate, high carbonation, semi-dry finish. Fair enough, but the watery sensation of the palate really brings everything down a bit. In my opinion, weissbiers need a bit of ABV on them to pull off their unique flavors.

A bottle shared by my buddy Laurent. Nice to find a table beer in Japan, unfortunately the drop in alcohol also resulted in a drop in flavor. Still it ticks the boxes of a hefeweizen, cloudy gold, spicy, tasty enough & still better than your average macrobrew(though these guys seem like a pretty big brewery).

Big creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is wheat, yeast, hay, cereal, hints of citrus. Taste is very watery and kind of sour-ish, yeast, wheat, hay, cereal, dough, hints of sorrel. Little bitterness. What a waste of beer!

Poured into Weizen-glass from 0,5 bottle. Cloudy straw-colored, decent head. Taste, nose - awful. Wasn’t ready for that after other Kulmacher’s products. Very familiar Weizen notes, but horribly distorted by something stale, rotten and various sulfitic things. And its pretty objective opinion proved by two other tasters.

Bottle. Hazy golden-orange with a quickly-dissipating big white head. Aroma has some worty graininess and some estery fruitiness. Sweetish grainy flavor with mild Weizen fruitiness and a light bitter note in the finish. Light-bodied, lively carbonation. Drinkable, but not great. Too much of the usual low alcohol graininess, not enough fruity Weizen character.
