Commercial Description:
The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

Hazy darker yellow coloured beer with some light carbonation and an average creamy white head. Herby, grainy aroma with some fruity touches, typical weissen aroma. Full palate. Finish is light fruity, bitter sweet with some herby yeasty touches.

(Draught at Ölbaren, Copenhagen, 25 July 2008) Golden yellow colour, cloudy, with a huge, firm, white head. Fruity, citric nose with citrus, banana and hints of spices. Fruity, slightly citric taste with notes of lemon, banana, plums and a fairly sweet wheat character. Decent hefeweizen but hardly exciting.

Foggy yellow/orange with a medium sized head that dissipates fairly rapidly. Nose of yeast, citrus, and grass. Taste is of citrus, yeast, grass, banana, and a little chalk. Chalky, bitter finish. The chalkiness is a negative, the flavor and balance would have been much better otherwise.
