Commercial Description:
The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

From a bottle poured a hazy straw color with a good amount of head. Nice wheat beer flavor with a good clean finish.

draft ølbaren cph. aroma was a letdown, but from there things got remarkably better. great fleavor. looks cloudy with nice white head, flavor is not too sweet, and not too citrussy. great balance, one of the better of its kind.

Draught. Horrible urine aroma, mixed with bad yeast. Hmm... Surprisingly, the taste is quite good, gin tonic with cucumber. (What was I thinking when I wrote that review down..?)

(Bottle) Pours a hazy dark yellow to orange amber with creamy white head. The aroma is of bananas and sweet spices with undertones of tropical and citrus fruits like oranges, lime and apricot. In addition, some tones of bubblegum, nutmeg, mild ginger, clove, cinnamon, bread/dough and wheat. Hints of hops. The flavour is of banana, apricot/tropical fruits, wheat, mild spices, mild citrus alongside some dough and bread. The mouthfeel is creamy and smooth with a medium soft carbonation. Light to medium sweet, light bitter and light acidic. Good malty, medium bodied.

Swing-top bottle (50 cl) from Toom Getränkemarkt, Würzburg, Germany. Hazy golden, large white head. Rich fruity aroma with bananas and mango, and some spicy notes. A bit sweet initially, but with a dry finish. A good Hefeweizen.

This German Hefeweizen pours a slightly hazy orange gold color from a 50cl bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is wheaty and yeasty, some banana and clove. A medium bodied hefe-weizen. The malts are wheaty, with a lot of banana and clove flavor. Kind of yeasty as well. The hops are floral and slightly spicy. Lively carbonation. Touch of lemon and citrus at the finish. Light and refreshing. Nice beer on a warm summer evening. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pours a dark gold/copper color with a thick, off-white head. Also, a small amount of dark yeast sediment is evident in the pour. Initial aroma has hints of honey. Taste has hints of honey and banana but no strong evidence of citrus. I didn’t find anything particularly impressive about this beer.
