Commercial Description:
The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

Cloudy yellow-brown beer with medium blond head. Typical wheatbeer: bananas, yeast and wheat are found in the aroma. Flavour is quite light: bananas and some malts and hops in the end. Carbonation is quite high. After-taste is slightly dusty and it could be more refresshing.

1/2L bottle. pours hazy golden with creamy white head. aroma is mostly banana with some grainy and clove notes. flavors are pretty banana but an attempted balance is achieved with doughy and clove notes. lively carbonation and creamy smooth body. a tad bit of a banana bomb but not overly so where i can’t enjoy this. a nice hefe for sure.

Mini Keg (5 liters). Poured hazy honeyed yellow with a large, dense, foamy, white head which lasted quite well. Aroma was of sweet yeasty malts with dried banana, creamy pear, grassy hops (mild), orange and lemon zest, straw with some spicy notes (coriander). Flavor was very smooth (virtually no bitterness) with hints of grassy hops, strong notes of sweet bready malts, creamy banana, orange zest, lemon, a touch of honey with cinnamon and coriander in the finish. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation, a very creamy mouthfeel and a good finish.

16.9 oz bottle-Pours a hazy orangish yellow body with a thick white head that dissipated into a small covering. Aroma of yeast, banana, wheat, citrus, and grassy. Flavor of banana, yeast, clove, and wheat. Not as sweet as other Hefes but still pretty tasty.

Bottle 0.5 l. Hazy yellow, thick white had. Yeasty, wheaty, slightly citric and fresh nose. Not very sweet. Flavor is big on wheat and yeast, slightly fruity with a bit of citric touch and a bitterish aftertaste. Very good.
