Commercial Description:
The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

Pours a cloudy yellow color with a massive white fluffy head. Nose is wheat lemon and clove. Taste is creamy and refreshing with notes of banana and clove. Good hefe but not outstanding.

Draft. A cloudyish yellow coloration w/some yeasty remnants. Nice head. A bit flighty w/bananas etc. Not bad.

Color is a dark yellow, almost orange. Nice creamy head. The wheat and banana tones are there, but somehow the great appearance had me expecting more. The body is quite modest. Certainly a refreshing beer, though.

Dark yellow colored with cloudy appearance. Medium sized vanishing white head. Rich banana in aroma with some berry yeastiness and mild spices, good aroma. Medium bodied, lacks maybe some carbonation. Flavor has also fine banana, some grains disturb here with still fine yeast. Aftertaste is berry-fruity with some biting dryness.

Quite dissapointing!!!. Purchased at a Wal-Mart in Mexico for 20 pesos which its very cheap coming from a so long way.The beer pours a crystal-yellow body with abundant white head, the aroma its pretty much the one of a Classic German Pilsener, not any hits of banana neither vainilla, the palate was salty, sticky, the flavor has that German trademark but the point is that it doesnt look or taste like a hefeweizen.Save your money pals!!

Bottle from Sainsburys, Kidlington, Oxon, consumed 13-04-08 Purs a cloudy amber with white fluffy head. Aroma does have some cloves and banana but not as much as I expected, there was some other spice but not sure what it was, tasted ok.

Cloudy and unfiltered with a huge almost white head. Aroma of yeast and fruity esters. Flavor is clove and some banana. However, this is not a beer with a big flavor. As a hefe head I enjoyed this one but wish it offered more aroma and flavor.
