Commercial Description:
The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

Bottle. Pours cloudy tan with a tiny head. The first thing you notice about the flavor is the honey. There’s some cereal but other then that, not too much going on here, Really watery.

Tap@BarInCochem. Aroma of banana with hints of butter but not really in a bad way. Cloudy, yellow color, white head, good lace. Sweet banana and soft bitterness, medium body, little sticky mouthfeel, very flavorful.

Bottle from morrisons. Aroma is yeasty, banana, not much clove character, but wheat is noteable. Taste is similarly yeasty fruity esters, thin and wheaty. Im soo bored with hefeweizen’s.

Can’t think of what would make a Hefe look better so it gets a 5 there. Pours hazy orange/yellow with a gorgeous creamy frothy white head that has great staying power. Yeasty, spicy, little bit sour wheat aroma. The banana flavor is very nice, sweet but not pungent like in other Hefe’s. Really nice smooth mellow wheat taste and not overly spiced either, little bit of yogurt to it though. Very nice balance. Great drinkable palate, not extremely fluffy but smooth.

Draught at ØLbaren. Unclear orange - whit head. Banana, fruity, yeasty, light cardboard, light flowery, light light metallic notes, light spicy. OK - Just a German Hefeweizen.

Bottle from Morrisons, this looks the biz, hazy orange with a thick rocky white head, there is a nice bead of tiny bubbles. VERY light on the nose, palate and flavour, lacks on all of those, there is a slight hint of spice and banana, but thats it, it finishes very quickly. a fine looking beer that let me down on all other criteria.

glossy/cloudy golden yellow color, thin creamy off-white head. aroma is slightly yeasty, a bit of lemon zest, and faint sweet malt like banana. flavor is watery, starts a little dry grassy wheat malt, then banana flavor, but goes quickly back to dry grassyness. crisp, well carbonated, and finish is weak, watery, some banana, and a bit of lemon rind.

A Mes rate: Bottle at Quinns.
Cloudy golden brown with a tenacious white head. Dusty hops, slight tobacco and banana in the nose. Flavour is full on banana with some mellow malt and hops lurking in the background. Dry yet sweet finish. Interesting but not amazing.
