I enjoyed this over the course of a day/evening both regular and fruited with a fresh lemon. Very light and wheaty with a generous fruit aroma. The lemon really seemed to accentuate the aroma. Inviting pale orange color with a thick and diminishing head that does produce some nice lacing. Zesty and smooth over the gums this one has a mild body and is very satisfying. Faint banana and spice flavor up front leading way to an overall general fruitiness. Nice crisp wheat malt base is evident. This is one of the very few Hefe’s I prefer w/ a half slice of lemon. Great summer cooler, this mini-keg was the best idea I had all day. thewolf (5727), Kolding, Denmark

Aroma is nice with banana, but it feels a little uncomplex. Flavour is not as sweet as other hefes, it has some sourness or tartness as well. But there is naturally some sweetness and wheatyness - not much bitterness. Mouthfeel is creamy and fine. Sunnycayman (10), Cayman Islands

It has a creamy texture and is very smooth. Now I know why the monks have a big belly! bleeng (597), Spring near Beersel, Texas, USA

Medium carbonation. Wheaty, malty, nose. Tastes of clove, banana, wheat but not over-the-top. Lighter body for a Weissbier. A good session/summer beer for hot Houston day. I can say that i haven’t missed anything. Cloudy gold and a rocky head. Aroma is very lemony and wheaty. Flavor is kind of grainy and bland. The most evident wheat tasting beer i’ve ever had. Doesn’t have nearly enough of the banana and bubblegum esters that i dig in hefeweizens. perhaps this isn’t the freshest beer. BigBen2120 (688), Derry, New Hampshire, USA

Murky orange-yellow body with a good inch to inch and a half of off-white head that dissipates slowly. Smells sweet and fruity, like banana, nut, spice. Tastes like banana, nut, and malty sweetness. Rich creamy mouthfeel. Very very drinkable. A fantastic hef. One of the best I’ve had. detroitsteel (231), Greater London, England

Ok, so this is over-simplifing and being flipent, but I’ve never had such a banana-ery Hefe. It totally over powered all the other flavours that may have been struggling to escape. Nice light body, easy on the palete, looked ok - nice orange body, big fluffy head. One for your Gorilla chums or Bananaman. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA
