Commercial Description:
The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

Bottle. Banana aroma. Quite cloudy golden colour. White head, not very stable. Flavour also has some banana and some sweetness. Full mouthfeel.

Semi-fruity & spicy (apple, lemon, banana), malty, medium-full mouthfell, medium effervesence. Soft and sweet flavor with a clean finish.

Can. Orange golden color with decent head which settles quickly. Aroma is typical of the style with some banana. Flavor is wheaty, some banana but too watery. No palate. I did however manage to drink quite a lot of these during the evening. Not the worst beer to get drunk on..

Bottle. Lots of fruity esters in the aroma, abundant banana, some lemon, and some yeast. Hazy deep golden color, firm snow white head. The lemon comes through in the flavor a bit more than I would have liked. Refreshing, yet creamy body. Pretty nice.

Sampled with Rudy, Tim, and Sammy. Bottle. Sweet, lemony aroma with some significant bananas in the nose. Slight metallic hints are also present. Hazy golden color with a white head. Slightly sweet, smooth, and malty flavor with lemon and banana notes. Very tasty and quite refreshing. Yum.

Banana, clove, bubblegum and a bit of wheat in the nose. Cloudy amber/orange body. Flavor has wheat, bubblegum, a little lemon. Slightly bready, clovey finish. Nice and refreshing.

Pale yellow. Quite cloudy. With it’s mix of caramel and vanilla scents it smells like root-beer. This is a beer I would have with some grilled meat. Very mellow but good. Not very complex.

Draught pint at Redbones in the company of ClarkVV, his delightful girlfriend, and my moody brother. Opaque orange-gold, lasting light head, bit of lace....hugely sweet banana-vanilla-caramel nose, cinnnamon and ginger over the more common clove spicing....body fairly sugary, lightly yeast, caramelized bananas luscious in a vanilla creme bath....very full through to the end, slight metallic character and wateriness keep this from greatness but its far above average.
