Kapuziner Weissbier

Strong banana aroma, deep golden body, thick, white, beautiful soapy head. Taste was refreshing and tarty, but rather thin on malt and fruit, which is a pity, especially because the finish was also rather short-lived. Considering that I can have a good ol’ Franziskaner for 1/3 of the price...

Every time that I’m drinking a good hefeweizen, it’s my favorite beer style. Light, fresh smelling, quenching... This is a goody, with pale, hazy gold color, large frothy white head, scents of lemongrass, bananas, and spices emanating forth - - Good taste with a lemon spritz of a finish. - - - But now the drink is gone, and I’m a hophead again.

Pours a like a Pale Ale. Nice golden color with a somewhat creamy head. Smells like white wine, raisin, and banana. Taste is nice. There is a lot of raisin in the taste, plus white wine and a bit of banana. There is some tropical fruit in it as well. Pretty good. This was better the second time. There were some suggestions of apple this time. This is one of the best Wheat beers.

Out of the bottle this great weissbier pours a golden orange with a tall white head that leaves nice lacing behind. Tons of banana and clove in the aroma, yeasty and a bit sweet. Taste is very smooth, sweet start fading to lots of banana and spice in the finish. Light hopping to balance it out. This is just a really great hefe

good refreshing lunch beer. Yeast and wheat worked for great aroma and easy drinking taste. Bubblegummy banana smoothy fruit flavour. Yeasty apple pie creamy body of aftertaste.

A good sharp taste of bananas and toffee, then it has a watery texture and falls flat. I was hoping that this would be an exceptional Hefeweizen, but sadly, its not

This beer is good, and bad for me, the banana hints and bit of sourness are great, as is aroma,color. But the watery flavor brought it down a bit for me, I wishthe flavor was stronger.

Pours a hazy gold, lots of cascading happening. Banana aroma. Small white head quickly recedes. Fizzy mouthfeel. WATERY! Hints of banana and lemon, but very distant. Tastes like a Hefe Light.
