COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

bottle. hazy golden body with a fluffy white head. aroma is like a typical hefeweizen - subtle fruit, pronounced spice, yeast, and grassy hops. the body is soft and creamy with light banana and bubblegum flavours. light peppery spice in the finish. very quenching and refreshing though there isn’t a whole lot of depth.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is a nice mix of yeast and cloves. Flavor is also above par with lots of banana and vanilla with a touch of cloves and a kick of lemon at the end. Above average hefe.

Bottle poured a brown-tinted amber, thickly hazed. An off-white head settled in as a thick, creamy film. Aromas were hefeweizen-typical, but very forward. The flavor had a defined malted character supporting the spiced and fruity yeast. Finish was dirty, yet soft carbonation helped to create a creamy mouthfeel.

(Bottle 50 cl) Unclear honey golden with a typical, dense head. Very fruity and yeasty notes in both aroma and flavour. A fine example of the style. 210101

(bottle) Cloudy orange colour with a big and quite stable rocky white head. Dusty wheat malty aroma with banana esters and a touch of yeasts and cloves. Unfortunately the light body decreases the almost perfect first impression a bit. Fruity (lemon, banana) and malty initial taste with a chalky and slightly tart finish with a moderate carbonation. A good one.

Glorious deep cloudy haze and yellow-orange in color with a sudsy, soapy white head. Aroma is by the book - pepper, vanilla, bananas and cloves, accented with slight hints of orange crème. Flavor is smooth, sweet and subtly spiced with pepper and cloves. Vanilla plays a more dominant role in the flavor than previously indicated by the nose, but it’s far from overpowering. Citric natures in the slightest of senses, nearly akin to dealing with Lemon Ice from the zoo. Trace amounts of sweet corn peak in at the end. Casual and quaffable yet one of the less effervescent hefes I’ve had. Smooth crème de banana finish. I’d like to turn everything up a notch or two, but for where it’s at in the present time, it’s still enjoyable.

Tap at You’ll Never Walk Alone, Kolding. A good quality hefeweizen. Has the usual estery, banana and clove character. But there’s a pronounced lemony edge to the flavour which provides balance and grip, preventing it from getting too sweet and blowsy, which I find with too many hefeweizens. Very drinkable

Hazy yellow color with a large froth. Vibrant clove, vanilla and banana aromas, with light hints of caramel, tart winter wheat, toffee and sweet tarts. Big body for a weiss, with a noticeable alcohol flavor. Rich and juicy flavor, doughy and loaded with malt and yeast flavors. Vanilla, caramel, toffee, clove and banana. It’s very soft and balanced and isn’t tart in the flavor at all, which I like. Very nice, probably my favorite hefeweizen thusfar.
