The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

Bottle. Light banana/clove aroma. Tan color - cloudy with ample, lasting head. Full wheat malt flavor with lighter fruit and spice notes (banana, raspberry, clove). Nice but would like more body and flavor.

Dark bodied wheat beer with a banana and bitter aroma. Quite a strong citric flavour with a lot of bitterness, overall an OK beer.

Pretty nice WeissBier!
Poured a rather dark golden / bronze body with a fat frothy ivory head. The aroma and flavor bring a bulky suggestion of banana nut bread. Nice spiciness, clove, coriander, a hint of black pepper. Slightly tart with orange and lemon with a yeasty and doughy ending. Overall it seems to be a rounded, biscuity and every enjoyable Weiss…. This is a sincere brew that is tough not to like.

Huge head on this Weizen. Cloudy gold body. Lots of banana in the aroma with yeast and spicy clove also. Body is typical for the style. Flavor could be better. Fair amount of wheat malt and a bit spicy with some yeast adding flavor. Overall an average Weizen.

Medium sized white head, fair retention, scant lace. Hazy orange, white hued brew. Light bananna, clove nose, citrus hints also. Light/medium body, sorta watery. Washed out fruity flavors, toasty malts and yeast. Finish is quick and dry.

Cloudy orange in color with a fluffy white head. Bottle. Flavor of banana and clove. Not too much malt flavor, That is lacking. I get a slightly tart finish. It is a refreshing beer though. Its crisp. Ok.

0.5l bottle. Pours a cloudy orange-yellow with a big white head. Rather subdued phenols in the aroma leding the beer to have a more normal ale like fruitiness in character. Flavor has a similar pattern, with the malt being the focus over the banana clove of a wheat beer. Maltiness is a touch lacking, and the finish is just ever so slightly tart. Somewhat refreshing, but lacking in the character that better wheat beers have.

Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a creamy white and lasting head. Aroma is banana and clove. Had this one in a lager glass as it was the only thing clean. Flavor is lightly sweet and citrus with mild yeastiness. Good malt flavor as well. This one has everything you would expect in a wheat, but is a bit too mild. The finish is very clean and this is a very drinkable brew that goes down so smooth and refreshing.......but I still feel like something is lacking. This one probably will end up lower on my list of available wheats. Now that I look at the commercial description I have to add that it really does fit the bill as a very refreshing beer but I view it as a sort of German Hefe-Lite or something.

Not bad...not great either but certainly enjoyable. Very creamy for a hefe....to its detriment in some ways and to its aid in others. The lemon really really disseminates through this one. I want the dunkelweizen. G-rat

Sweet yeast smells. Poured yellowish with a healthy head. Many bubbles still rising, looks very nice. Nice blend of malt and yeast in the taste. Feels a little light, very refreshing.
