COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

Big yeasty nose with banana tones. Cloudy organge-tan color with a nice head. Doughy taste and spicy. Slightly bitter end – the hops are allowed to come through. Really thin for a hefeweizen. OK, but overall rather disappointing.

Nice pour, but flavor and aroma leave something to be desired. Standard weizen aromas and flavors, but a lot fainter than in some of its competitors. Surprised at the high ratings, as I don’t think it’s that good.....After all I’ve read, I’m a bit disappointed

Hazy yellow with big staying lacing white foam head. Aroma is malty, with citrus, orange notes. Taste is good weißbier, but nothing outstanding. Short fresh little citrus aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours hazy light amber with abundant, stable white head. Clear, grainy and yeasty, slightly rough aroma. Dryish, a little brady flavour. Dry aftertaste. Not quite good, or rather not good enough. Perhaps needs re-rating.

Appearance is perfect.Cloudy gold color with a perfect white creamy head. Good retention. Aroma is not really high typical banana yeast notes with some citrus. In mouth if kinda ligth, not realy yeasti. Some banana and one more time citrus. The end is ligth bitter. Perfect carbonation. One of the best for the summer days.(if you can find them in Germany...)

Light amber brown in color, moderate carbonation. Smells of banana and clove. Banana, clove, bubblegum, with a balanced, smooth finish. Smooth and refreshing! Overall, this is a solid beer. I'd have it again. Frankly, I'm tempted to buy the mini keg. This is an exceptional example of the style, and its worth your time if you are interested in exploring the wonderful world of weissbier. Or perhaps, you just have a hankering for a Hefeweizen! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
