Commercial Description:
The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

It’s a good hefeweizen, but not the best. The palate a little bit too fruity and intense.

Poured a hazy soft peachy amber with a thick creamy offwhite head. THe aroma was a little sour, typical of German wheats, spicy, citrusy, and yeasty. The flavor was wheaty, had that sour character, some spice, a little banana, and yeasty. The palate was a bit thinner than I would have liked. Another enjoyable German Hefeweizen.

Bottle at issac newton’s. Pours cloudy yellow with a very large billowing frothy white head. Aroma of yeast and wheat (just an ok aroma). The flavor is wheat, banana (and lots of it), and spices, and yeast. Good body, great brew.

Slightly cloudy yellow with a thick two fingers of smooth white foam. Mostly light spice and wheat malt light lemon citrus and various light fruit esters. Taste is a nice citrus lemon, light spice and yeast note to finish. A very smooth wheat body.

A middle of the road hefe. Everything about the beer is average. The light gold color, the wheaty aroma and the citrus tang and banana taste. This beer almost tastes like a "banana lambic". Nice but not incredible.

Hazy yellow color with a large froth. Vibrant clove, vanilla and banana aromas, with light hints of caramel, tart winter wheat, toffee and sweet tarts. Big body for a weiss, with a noticeable alcohol flavor. Rich and juicy flavor, doughy and loaded with malt and yeast flavors. Vanilla, caramel, toffee, clove and banana. It’s very soft and balanced and isn’t tart in the flavor at all, which I like. Very nice, probably my favorite hefeweizen thusfar.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is a nice mix of yeast and cloves. Flavor is also above par with lots of banana and vanilla with a touch of cloves and a kick of lemon at the end. Above average hefe.
