Commercial Description:
The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

Pours dark golden and cloudy with a nice foamy off-white head. Aroma is citric, fruity with banana and lemon, and a bit spicy from the yeast. The note of pure yeastiness and crisp wheat that sharpens the aroma. Taste is dry, wheat centric, with mild fruity esters that are more spicy than fruity. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, smooth, and slightly creamy with lively foamy carbonation. If you’re in the mood for a fruity hefeweizen, look elsewhere. If you want a refreshing beer, this is a good one.

[bottle] Refreshing sour and sweet aroma with bubblegum, a touch of clove, and a corriander note. Cloudy, light orange-brown wwith a lasting, white, flanel blanket. Sweet clove bubblegum estery flavour with yeast and some wheat sourness. Very low bitterness. Medium body, moderate carbonation, sweet finish.

This beer is good, and bad for me, the banana hints and bit of sourness are great, as is aroma, color. But the watery flavor brought it down a bit for me, I wishthe flavor was stronger.

(on bottle) Hazy, flat orange colour, lasting white head. Abricots-banana sent. Ticklish carbonation, fat vanilla mouthfeel. In fact a very powerfull vanilla-taste too, the whoe beer became more and more x-mas-like throughout the drink. Soft and drikable beer.

Bottle. Pours a very nice looking cloudy orange with white creamy, almost fluffy head. Aroma is yeasty, wheaty malt, with a nice light citrus notes that make this a nice aromatic beer. Flavor of wheaty maltiness, faint banana with a nice citrus tang. Mouth feel is light, soft body with high carbonation. Overall, a pretty tasty and refreshing beer.....good stuff!

Can’t think of what would make a Hefe look better so it gets a 5 there. Pours hazy orange/yellow with a gorgeous creamy frothy white head that has great staying power. Yeasty, spicy, little bit sour wheat aroma. The banana flavor is very nice, sweet but not pungent like in other Hefe’s. Really nice smooth mellow wheat taste and not overly spiced either, little bit of yogurt to it though. Very nice balance. Great drinkable palate, not extremely fluffy but smooth.

mini-keg. Feint banana aroma with some citrus and an overall cereal scent. Pours cloudy orange-gold color with a huge white head. Mild banana flavor, some citrus, hints of spice in the back, finishes dry. Its lacking a little of what i like in hefeweizen.
