Commercial Description:
The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

Cloudy orange pour with visible sediment and a thick and creamy white head. Banana and fruity aroma. Creamy and smooth mouthfeel and initially very spicy. Fades to clove and banana and finishes with yeast and bread/dough. Pretty good!

Bottle. Classic weisse. pours with a pale golden to yellow color and a medium head. Aromas of yeast and bananas. Flavors of bubblegum, banana and bread. Fairly light without being thin.

(GERMANY) Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. The aroma has a clove, grain, and some lite fruity notes. The taste is kind of spicy with a hint of wheat and banana. The mouthfeel is spritzy and quiet refreshing !!! My only problem is the taste falls a bit short.

500ml bottle $3. Very nice looking golden, cloudy color, served in a pilsener glass. The smell was cloves and bubblegum with extra yeastiness. The taste starts out very nice with a strong bubblegum component but then finishes with a buttered popcorn flavor that I do not care for at all (diacetyl?). Draft. A cloudyish yellow coloration w/some yeasty remnants. Nice head. A bit flighty w/bananas etc. Not bad.

Pours a like a Pale Ale. Nice golden color with a somewhat creamy head. Smells like white wine, raisin, and banana. Taste is nice. There is a lot of raisin in the taste, plus white wine and a bit of banana. There is some tropical fruit in it as well. Pretty good. This was better the second time. There were some suggestions of apple this time. This is one of the best Wheat beers.
