Commercial Description:
The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

Gold color with a medium head. Grainy aroma. Slight grass and wheat flavors. A bit more spice than I would expect. Nothing outstanding, but a solid wheat beer.

500ml bottle. Yellow to orange, head dissipates quickly. Quite wheaty, perfumed soap aroma. Slightly fizzy in the mouth. Sharp and sour taste, a bit dodgy if you ask me. Perhaps almonds or marzipan. A bit watery. Maybe I had a duff one? Might re-rate as I like the style generally.

Bottle from Sainsburys, Kidlington, Oxon, consumed 13-04-08 Purs a cloudy amber with white fluffy head. Aroma does have some cloves and banana but not as much as I expected, there was some other spice but not sure what it was, tasted ok.

Rather hazy yellow color, big white head. Yeasty, spicy, fruity aroma. Spicy fruit flavor, bana and yeast notes. Not as fresh as I want myweissbiers...

Bottled. Light hazy yellow. Head is pretty poor considering the style. Lovely fruity aroma, almost exotic, along with phenols. Big on Co2, wonderful exotic fruity esters with a light phenolic touch in flavour. Vanilla is also there. Very yummy. Big body.

bottle. cloudy yellow colour, large white head, fruity nose. Medium to full-bodied, malty-wheaty background with fruity flavours, banana mainly. Finishes with some citrusy hoppy flavours on top of the yeasty-wheaty flavours.
