The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

Really good weissbier. Probably best one from germany. I recommend. Tastes very smooth and has rich flavor and the bottle is awesome, because the cap of the bottle looks oldschool. Label looks so nice and the image of monk makes it look really good.

Hazy yellow with big staying lacing white foam head. Aroma is malty, with citrus, orange notes. Taste is good weißbier, but nothing outstanding. Short fresh little citrus aftertaste.

A: Poured on tap at Novare Res Bier Cafe. Large, white frothy head that slowly dissipated to 1-finger. Body is an almost rusty-orange color, and cloudy. S: Very nice aroma of wheat, yeast, and citrus fruit. Nothing in the aroma is overpowering, yet still present enough to be present with every sip. T: This is a great-tasting hefeweizen... smooth and refreshing with yeast and wheat, and lots of orange. Some spices are present (especially pepper). Excellent! M: Medium-bodied and creamy, with average carbonation. D: I think maybe the best hefeweizen I’ve ever had. I could drink it all night.

Light amber brown in color, moderate carbonation. Smells of banana and clove. Banana, clove, bubblegum, with a balanced, smooth finish. Smooth and refreshing! Overall, this is a solid beer. I'd have it again. Frankly, I'm tempted to buy the mini keg. This is an exceptional example of the style, and its worth your time if you are interested in exploring the wonderful world of weissbier. Or perhaps, you just have a hankering for a Hefeweizen! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Opaque, dirty dark orang with an ominpresent white foam head. Nice clovey aroma. Flavor tends towards sweet, yet with the classical banana-yeast undertones. Sehr gut!

A little darker than the norm but still has the look and smell of a Weissbier. That’s Hefeweizen perfection. Perfect balance between the sweet grain and sour mash flavors and ending in that refreshing tanginess I love so much. Could use a little more aroma but then, if it smelled stronger the flavor wouldnt balance as well. Im impressed.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 1pt .9oz swing top bottle into a tall weizen glass. The label has the abv (5.4%) and no freshness date. Appearance: A tall, thick and creamy off white head sits on top of a hazy golden liquid. Tons of carbonation flows up though the beer to support the head. On the glass the slow fading head leaves long sticky fingers of lacing. Smell: I get notes of banana and clove like yeast over a pale wheat base. (All the classic hits.) Taste/Palate: There are notes of sweet banana bread with nuts and raw pale wheat backed up with mild hop bitterness. The hops add a mellow citrus note to the finish. Its texture is mellow and smooth but not slick. Carbonation is well balanced. Notes: This is a very solid Hefeweizen.

Sweet yeast smells. Poured yellowish with a healthy head. Many bubbles still rising, looks very nice. Nice blend of malt and yeast in the taste. Feels a little light, very refreshing.

500ml bottle from A-1 To-Go. Murky orange-yellow body with a good inch to inch and a half of off-white head that dissipates slowly. Smells sweet and fruity, like banana, nut, spice. Tastes like banana, nut, and malty sweetness. Rich creamy mouthfeel. Very very drinkable. A fantastic hef. One of the best I’ve had.
