Bottle courtesy of a recent Tampa Tasting. Pours a hazy orange with a white head. Nose is malt, oak, vanilla, bourbon, some citrus hop character. Flavor is similar: bourbon, caramel, oak, vanilla, and some hops trying to punch through the bourbon blanket. Medium in body, syrupy, boozy, and bitter; an interesting combination.

Location: Draft at Whole Foods - Montrose, 4/1/14, 200th DIPA Rating!

Aroma: The aroma is boozy/bourbon, some heavy malts, and a little hops
Appearance: It pours a dark, almost murky orange, with a decent amout of lace/head
Flavor: The flavor is sweet and bourbony, with plenty of sweet DIPA malts, and a lighter hop feel
Palate: The body is fairly full, it has a pretty nice feel, some stickiness, and a mid-dry finish
Overall Impression: I actually found this one good too. It is a bourbony DIPA with a nice flavor. Sure, it leans sweet, malty, and bourbony for the style, but I enjoyed it. Good stuff.

Amber somewhat clear pour. Medium eggshell head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is amazing. The perfect blend of bourbon and big dank and citrus hop aroma. Flavor is incredible. It comes and goes between bourbon and ipa dominated flavors. Bourbon is very present but not overwhelming like most in the style. Rodeo clown itself is still very present. Better than I was hoping for. NEAR PERFECT---Rated via iPhone

On tap at karbach brewing. Aroma is the most appealing part about this beer, the nose is bourbony and chunks of vanilla. Its golden brown with a tan white head. This beer just tastes like bourbon with a tiny bit of hops desperately clinging on to the end. Theres not a lot of depth or balance to this beer. Basically its what Iíve come to expect from Karbach, very forgettable.

I once fucked a raccoon,.. or a girl named Tracy .. i forget..

On tap at Flying Saucer for IPA Day. Pours a cloudy brown with large creamy beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is oak, brown sugar, and bourbon. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet bourbon flavor, oak, and light sweet hop. Alcohol present but not overpowering, a very good variation on the original.

On tap at Hay Merchant. Pours a cloudy amber with a small frothy off white head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a strong oak and floral hop. Medium mouthfeel with a strong bitter hop and oak with a boozy finish. A good boozier version of the original.
