22 oz bottle of El Hopadillo Negro pours clear dark red-brown rather than black. The modest size beige head is durable and leaves fine lacing.
Aroma: Sweet with less hop aroma than expected.
Flavor: good integration of dark malts and hops for style; a style where these seem to clash more often than mesh.

sepia with a thin cream head. Robust chocolate nose, light mango and orange sweetness. Chalky palate accents chocolate, thin and dusty across mid with light vanilla and butter through the sticky finish that gets worse as it lingers.

Palate cleanser thanks to Nimbleprop at Epic Sour Tasting. Black pour with good head and lacing. Citrus hops and roast malt. Medium bitter finish. Nice beer, especially nice with bitter contrast to all the sour. Thick, creamy and slighly oily consistency.
