Nose is a little boozy, oakey, roasted malts, vanilla, chocolate... Taste isnt as boozy as the nose... Just the right amount of oak, vanilla, bourbon. Roasted malts, light chocolate slight bitterness to balance it out. The alcohol is a little warming but not over the top. Medium carbonation, little oily, creamy... easy to drink. Overall: Nice impy strong porter

Black pour with a khaki head. Nose is alcohol, sweet malts, bitter, and coffee. Nice on the palate, bitter malts upfront, followed by sweet and stickiness, boozy finish.

Ahh, finally! Can’t believe I missed this one last year. Hella black with a taste to match -- chocolate milk with a shot of espresso.

On tap at Anvil.
The beer pours a dark brown to black color with a large brown head. The aroma has some big chocolate notes, as well as some roasted malt. The flavor is also very bold. I get a ton of chocolate and roasted malt, as well as a hint of coffee. The beer is fairly sweet overall and very enjoyable. The alcohol is noticeable but not overpowering. Thick, creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

The best dark beer to come out of the brand new Houston brewery. Great taste with a deep flavor and smooth finish.

Tap at Flying Saucer, Sugar Land. Pours a deep, thick mahogany with an aroma of nutty chocolate and light coffee. Flavor is velvety caramel cocoa, dark cherry, and chocolate syrup. Oily mouthfeel. I’d fight hell with it.

Excellently made porter! Dark in color with a rich, defining flavor, yet still light bodied and easily drinkable. Wonderful hints of cocoa and hazelnut.

On tap at Petrol Station. Pours a dark brown with ruby hue and beige head. The aroma is roasted malt and chocolate. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet chocolate roast and lingering lighr bitter finish. A good Imperial porter from Karbach.
