4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Location: Draft at BRC Gastropub, 12/4/13
Aroma: The nose is full of resiny hop goodness, pine, citrus, and some caramel malts too
Appearance: It pours a hazed dark orange color with a thick, frothy off-white head
Flavor: Tastes plenty of hoopy as well, not super bitter, but nice bitterness, with mild sweetness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a smooth, clean feel, soft carbonation, and a dry finish
I thought this was excellent. I’m a fan of the base beer, but the double dry hopping may have made it even better, particularly in the nose. The aroma is very hoppy and really just wonderful. Nothing bad to say here.
Earlier Rating: 7/22/2013 Total Score: 3.8
Location: Draft a couple of times around Houston, June/July 2013
Aroma: The nose is citrus and pine, some grass, caramel, and resin as well
Appearance: It pours an amber-orange color with a frothy head and decent lace
Flavor: Tastes much like the nose, some medium-plus bitterness and some sweetness
Palate: The body is medium, it is a little sticky, with a solid mouthfeel
I thought this was a pretty solid IPA. It seems to be the go to IPA on draft at quite a few local restaurants, and I am just fine with that.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Worth every bit of $9.75 at Reliant Stadium. Hazy amber with a golden tint and a nice white head. Floral, hoppy bitter aroma. Strong, piny floral taste that subdues the malt. Very good IPA.

Super hops and floral and pine notes. Dry and bitter. Drinking from can this time. Will be interesting gauge difference if from bottle.

12oz can thanks to Onebigtymer11. Thanks Nick! Pours a hazy deep copper color with 2 fingers of foamy off white head. Aroma of fresh citrus and tropical fruits, and caramel malt. Taste of toasted bread, citrus zest, grapefruit, and pine.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a cloudy orange-golden color with a wel-retaining off white head. Mellow citrusy nose. Full bodied, slightly powdery, and a little stinging. Floral, citrusy hop flavors with a dominant hop ch rafter that could do with a better malt backbone of balance. It is excessively bitter, but it fades pretty quickly.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can from Eric, thanks! Pours a hazy amber with fair to medium sized off white head. Aroma is grapefruit and candy corn. Taste is slightly earthy with some odd chemical thing going on half way through until it bitters out and you can tell it is very much a hop forward beer. Almost some belgian type flavors coming into play. Very dry and bitter on the finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can. Pours a dark, hazy amber with a lacy, large-grained cream head; there are red highlights when held up to the light. Nose is grapefruit, strawberry, new-mown grass, and just a faint touch of funk. Earthy on the front of the tongue with acidic, citric bitterness; brown sugar sweetness kicks in after that, balancing out the very tart dryness. Finish is long and warm. Good.
