COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Copper in color with ruby highlights, this Texas IPA has a strong citrus aroma with hints of earthiness and spice from the added European hops. Light berry fruits are perceived before giving way to citrusy hop character. Dry and quenching, this IPA is dry-hopped for added aromatic intensity.

Great IPA from a newer brewery in Houston. Bit more malt than some IPAs but real nice hop levels. Little more amber in color and goes quite well with a variety of foods. Nice burger or other sandwhich and one of these and you are set.

12 ounce can pours a dark caramel orange color. Aromas of grapefruit, caramel, and light pine. Flavors are grapefruit up front with a piney caramel finish.

Pours a gorgeous crystal clear orange amber color. Slight fruity nose of banana, citrus and pine. Bitter citrus flavor upfront followed by a mellow minty note. Overall, a nice brew...

Great beer. Filtered amber appearance. Creamy/thick head. Aroma is nothing but hops. Very dry to the palate. A great showcasing of hops (which is what an IPA should be).

Karbach's IPA has a solid, piney taste. The aroma grabs you and it's quite refreshing. It has a nice after taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Trying to turn my dad on to the world of craft beer in cans. Picked this up at Spec’s in Houston. Cool packaging - "recycle dammit!" on the side. A vigorous pour yields a rather fluffy head, and a light copper color - very clear beer! It’s very dry - too much so for dad but perfect for me - and a total grapefruit bomb, which I love. Pretty clean with no yeasty flavors, and a good strength at 6.6%. I’m excited to try some of their other offerings!

pours a deep orangish amber, clear, tons of fluffy tan head. Lightly stale hop, caramel and pale malts, faint citrus and pine. The taste is more pale malt and stale grain, faint citrusy and piney hops carry through and linger with a light bitterness, semi dry finish, and lighter body.

Had this at the flying saucer and it tasted like soap. Asked the bartender to pour another in a new glass and it too tasted like soap. Hoping that this was just a problem with a single keg or the draft lines. Very pretty beer though. I will try it somewhere else and re-rate if things change.
