COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Copper in color with ruby highlights, this Texas IPA has a strong citrus aroma with hints of earthiness and spice from the added European hops. Light berry fruits are perceived before giving way to citrusy hop character. Dry and quenching, this IPA is dry-hopped for added aromatic intensity.

Pours golden orange with a soapy off-white head. Smells earthy and spicy with hints of citrus underneath. Taste is bitter, strongly so, with a touch of mineral-like character underneath (tastes better on tap; this review is from the can). Medium-bodied with a slick texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Karbach Hopadillo IPA finishes with a bit of bitterness.

Tons of citrus and pine. Theres a lingering tropical fruit in the aroma. Has a really nice subtle sweetness as well. Taste is just awesome. Citrus, pine, nice sweet balance. Theres nothing to complain about with this IPA. It does everything right. Highly recommend if you can get it outside of Texas.

This is a somewhat inflated rating for the beer that I have come to associate with Texas. I've lived here for some two years on military posting, and this is by far and away my local choice for the best and most accessible IPA. Excellent by any standard. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden copperish with a thin disspipating white head. Lovely nose of caramel and toffee with a citrusy/floal hop nose, but also with a whisper of grass. Flavor was a wonderful IPA ride, combining the best of british and american IPAs. Lots of sweet toffee and a little caramel maltiness building the base, with a combo of American and British hoppiness making a bitter and deliciously balanced hop tone. Some light resin and grapefruit team up with some grassy Kent Goldings with a classic, easy going personality.

From the draft the color amber orange and clear white a slightly of white head, the aroma is floral hops, flavor is hops i want to say cascade hops, but not sure the type used, but a pleasant balance of hops with a nice clean finish. Solid IPA not over hopped.

In radio at The Holy Grail Pub. Puts a rich copper with a thin white head. The aromas are grapefruit, citrus. The mouthfeel is dry and bitter with a light body and medium carbonation. Cheers!

Probably my favorite, go-to local beer. Marmalade in color, slight haze, nice very lacey white head. Pine cone aroma, notes of peach and grapefruit. Very well balanced on the tongue, a lovely bitterness with some well paired citrus.

This brand-new brew from Karbach was had on tap and benefited hugely by being fresh, fresh, fresh. The color is a wonderful, clear copper with a characteristic American IPA nose: citrusy and spicy. The combination of malts and hops delivers a malty spice taste that went down very well (several pints’ worth, in fact). Even though fairly bold, it’s a good session beer – the brewer concentrated on taste without jamming on the alcohol.
