On tap at Sugar Land Saucer. Clear brownish-amber with an off-white head. Toasty, nutty, sweetish caramel aroma and rich malty taste with what seems to be a relatively high abv for the style. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Pretty good marzen.

Not a bad Octoberfest. No aroma. Malty sweet as expected. Golden. Thin fast fading head. Good thick mouthfeel as expected. Decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can:   Orange hued golden, sudsy white head, sparce lacing, light carbonation.   Bready nose, biscuit, slightly mealy.   Sweet breadiness to start.   As it warms, the nose does get a bit corny but thankfully I don’t get that on the tongue.   Smooth bready malts, biscuit, with only a touch of mealiness.   Pretty clean overall.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Finishes semi-sweet, malty, bready, touch of biscuit and mealiness.   Decent.   Thanks Bill!

12 oz can poured clear golden with two fingers of frothy white head that stuck around for a bit and left spotty sticky lacing. Nose is roasted malt and mild hops. Taste is of roasty malts, apple, bread and a little hoppiness. Sweet all the way through. Almost has a cider like mouthfeel.

This is the second beer I’ve tried from this company. I’m a fan of the Oktoberfest beers and this one hits the spot. Yummy

Sample at Anvil Bar & Refuge. The beer is a clear dark orange-amber color with a thin off-white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malt and mild hops. Light-bodied with flavors of grainy malt, caramel and grassy hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Clear brown, light cream head. Roasty and malty throughout. Lots of caramel, hints of butterscotch. Meh.

Can. Pours an orange-amber with a cream-colored, rocky head. Nose is dark fruit and malt with bourbon-ish traces. Sweet on the front of the tongue with additional smoky, whisky notes. Finish is short and abrupt. Not as deep or rich as I’d like. Different.

Clera, light orange. Small white head. Slightly fruity, floral, lightly sweet and slightly tangy. OK, but uninteresting. On tap, Hay Merchant, Houston.

Can shared by Bobby. Golden orange pour with a white head. Sweet, bready malt on the nose. Yeast, apple esters, toast, and some floral hops. Pretty simple flavor. Mostly sweet malt. Bread, toast, and a bit of apple. Yeast, floral hops, and water.

Aroma of malt. Pours a clear orange amber with a white ring and no lacing. The taste malt forward. Toasted malts, grain. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, a decent Oktoberfest / Marzen. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
